Esaú Molina, Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, Director, Career and Internship Programs
Esaú Molina is the Founding Director of Career and Internship Programs at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, where he leads the development and implementation of career exploration across 26 high schools. He launched Alliance’s first network-wide internship program, which has now impacted over 100 scholars, and designed a school-based micro-internship model connecting more than 1,000 students to real-world experiences in industries like STEM, healthcare, and entertainment. He secured over $750,000 in funding from The Broad Foundation and the Fox Family Foundation to support and scale this work.
Previously, Esaú served as Director of College and Career Counseling at Making Waves Academy, managing a $1.2 million budget and overseeing master scheduling, college counseling, academic advising, and dual enrollment programs. He supported board engagement, WASC accreditation, and led data efforts related to college readiness and graduation outcomes.
At Alliance, he also served as Manager of Alumni and Matriculation Supports, expanding college success services for 2,000+ students and launching AMP WaveLink, a virtual mentorship model that reached over 500 alumni. He coached team members who later moved into management roles and developed system-wide strategies to improve college access.
Earlier in his career, Esaú was an Academic Program Manager at EMERGE-HISD, a Teach For America middle school math teacher in Houston, and a college advisor with Advise TX. In each role, he has prioritized systems-building, student impact, and postsecondary access for first-generation and low-income youth.
As an independent college consultant, he has supported over 250 students and families and built college and career readiness curricula used across charter networks and school districts.
Esaú holds a Master of Arts in Human Dimensions of Organizations and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin, along with a Business Foundations Certificate.
