Sharine Carver is the Executive Director of Special Services for the Issaquah School District, in Issaquah Washington. In this role, Sharine oversees instructional excellence, talent, and operations of Issaquah School District’s Special Services department. Sharine also served as Issaquah’s Director of Special Services – Special Programs, in that role Sharine was responsible for program supervision and leading inclusive and equity-driven systems change. Previously Sharine was the Director of Operations and Compliance and acting Assistant Principal for Garfield Park Preparatory Academy in Chicago, Illinois. In this role Sharine managed the contract school framework agreement between Chicago Public Schools and TCS Community Education and oversaw all federal and state grants. At Garfield Park Preparatory Academy, Sharine, also coordinated community engagement and parent partnerships, student enrichment, and professional development. Sharine is a former middle school special educator, school psychologists, and educational leader with experience in rural, suburban, and urban educational settings.

Sharine is currently pursuing an Ed.D in Educational Leadership and holds a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from City University of Seattle. Sharine completed post-graduate course work in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, holds a M.A in School Psychology from Trinity University, and a B.A in Special Education and Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming.
