Kelli A. Easterly is the Executive Director of the Department of STEM for Chicago Public Schools. In this role, she is responsible for leading strategic planning and execution of strategies to support a district-wide vision for PK-12 mathematics, science, computer science and whole-school integrated STEM & STEAM programming that results in a student learning experience that leads to advanced STEM literacies among the student population. Prior to this position, Kelli served students in Chicago Public Schools as an Assistant Principal, Program Manager for STEM Schools, Instructional Effectiveness Specialist, and high school science teacher. Before her career transition into PK-12 education, Kelli was the Director of Basic Sciences at a school for allied health while maintaining a practice as a chiropractic physician in Chicago, IL.

Kelli holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences, an M.A.T. in Secondary Education from National Louis University, and a B.S. in Biology from DePaul University.
