Aliesha Maye is the Chief of School Operations at DC Prep. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring each school day runs smoothly by implementing & overseeing a variety of daily school systems & procedures including (but not limited to) enrollment, transportation, food service, emergency readiness, field trip planning, student health, procurement, compliance, and schoolwide event planning for all six schools in the DC Prep Network. Prior to the Fellowship, Aliesha served as the Principal of KIPP DC AIM Academy. Aliesha began her career in education at KIPP DC AIM Academy as a Corps Member with Teach for America and remained there for 13 years. In that time, Aliesha served as a Spanish Teacher, 5th and 6th grade Math Teacher, and Assistant Principal before ultimately becoming the Principal of the school.

Aliesha holds an Executive Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and a B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
