Alfredo Nambo is the Chief Education Officer for Acero Schools Chicago. In this role, he oversees the academic performance of 15 Acero Schools. Prior to this role, Alfredo was the Managing Director of English Learners at Acero Schools, where he oversaw the development and implementation of the bilingual education program and professional development of teachers and school leaders in best practices of bilingual education.

Before joining Acero Schools, Alfredo was an assistant principal and principal in the Chicago Public Schools and charter schools. Alfredo holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Illinois at Chicago and B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Alfredo is an alumnus of the inaugural class of New Leaders.
