Krystal Hutchinson is the Director of postsecondary readiness for Tulsa Public Schools (TPS)

In this role, Krystal leads a team that provides direct support and leadership to schools to develop site-specific programs, internships, and student events that support a college and career-readiness culture and improve outcomes. She also designs and coordinates experiences for middle and high school students that lead to a deeper understanding of the high school choice process, college fit, financial literacy, and career planning.

In addition to 8 years of STEM classroom teaching, Hutchinson previously served TPS as college and career readiness coordinator where she designed the implementation of individual career academic plans, organized district-wide college and career fairs, and created the framework for work-based learning experiences.

Educational degrees include a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology as well as a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Arizona State University. Hutchinson’s work is rooted in the belief that the primary goal of PreK-12 educators is to equip our students with tools to get to and through postsecondary training.
