Kelly Kane is the Executive Director, Elementary and Early Childhood Education for Tulsa Public Schools

In this role, Kelly oversees academic strategy, curriculum and instruction for the district’s 45 elementary schools, as well as Montessori programming, early childhood family and community engagement and PreK enrollment. During her tenure, Kelly has been responsible for expanding PreK to all elementary schools in the district and growing PreK enrollment. Prior to joining Tulsa Public Schools, Kelly served as a Partner and Project Director for TNTP, where she launched the organization’s early childhood strategy and led academic strategy work for clients at the state, district, school and community level. While there, she implemented a pioneering state-wide certification program to create a teacher pipeline for a universal pre-K program. Kelly also served as the Assistant Director for the Project for School Innovation, fostering learning and collaboration between Boston-area district and charter schools. Kelly was also Director of Staff Recruitment for Advantage Schools, Inc. Kelly started her career as an early elementary teacher with Teach For America in Baltimore City Public Schools.

Kelly holds an Ed.M in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Political Science from Boston College.
