Joshua Giraldo is the Chief of Human Capital for Blackstone Valley Prep

In this role, Joshua oversees hiring, human resources, and policy development for the six schools in the district. He also serves in the Rhode Island General Assembly as the Representative from District 56- Central Falls. Previously, Joshua served as Chief of Staff in his hometown of Central Falls, where oversaw all city operations and aided in exiting the city from state-appointed receivership and out of rare municipal bankruptcy. He has also served as a Director of Recreation and as a 6th grade social studies teacher. Joshua has been featured in a United Way/GoLocalProv Feature as one of Rhode Island’s Emerging Leaders and received the Hometown Hero Award and was inducted into Providence College’s Feinstein Institute of Public Service “Hall of Heroes” for his service to the community.

Joshua holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Providence College, has completed courses at the Harvard Kennedy School for Executive Education and is a graduate of Leadership Rhode Island.
