Dr. Enkela Paco is the Director of Mathematics for Rochester City School District

Dr. Enkela Paco oversees mathematics education for grades K -12 in the Rochester city school district. She has been an educator for 17 years, serving as a middle and high school Math teacher, Math instructional coach, Math Department lead, and district administrator. Dr. Enkela Paco has worked extensively on curriculum development and implementation throughout her career. She is a member of the Association of Mathematics Teachers and the Council of Great City Schools. Enkela is passionate about supporting schools to ensure equitable mathematics learning of high quality where students are seen, heard, and valued. 

Enkela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with an extension in Mathematics, a Master of Science degree in Inclusive Childhood Education from Nazareth College, the Advanced Leadership Studies Certificate from the University of Rochester, and a Doctorate of Education degree in Teaching and Curriculum from the University of Rochester.
