Connie Nieves is the Assistant Director of Human Resources for Hartford Public Schools
In this role, Connie manages and leads Human Resource operations across the department in the areas not limited to staffing, recruitment, information management and employee relations. While in Hartford Public Schools, Connie served as a Staffing Specialist and Staffing Manager. Prior to joining Hartford Public Schools, Connie was the Assistant Director of Enrollment Operations for Saint Joseph College where she supervised and lead a team of 30 support staff and implemented sustainable operational system processes for the Office of Admissions.
Connie holds a M.S. in Management from Saint Joseph College and a B.S. in Management from Central Connecticut State University. Additionally, Connie holds certificates in the areas of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida and Homeland Security Management from Saint Joseph College.
