Fellowship Role: Executive Director, New Orleans Therapeutic Day Program, Recovery School District (New Orleans, LA)

Liz Marcell Williams is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer at the Center for Resilience

During the Fellowship, she served as the Executive Director of the New Orleans Therapeutic Day Program within the Recovery School District. Prior to the Fellowship, Liz served as the Executive Director of Intervention Services at ReNEW Schools and was a founding member of the ReNEW Schools Charter Management Organization. She also served as the Vice-Chair of the Louisiana Special Education Cooperative and as the charter school representative on the Special Education Advisory Committee to Louisiana's Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Liz holds a B.A. in Italian Language and Literature from Smith College and an M.Ed. and Ed.D. in Culture, Communities, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
