Jenny Taylor Okonkwo is a Central Strategy Partner for Tulsa Public Schools. In this role, she supports district-wide resource strategy and budgeting for district chiefs and the superintendent. Prior to joining team finance, Jenny worked on the academic side of the district as the Early Childhood Program Manager, where she was responsible for implementing the first high-quality, comprehensive curriculum and coaching model for Tulsa's Pre-K students and teachers. Before her time at the district, Jenny designed and oversaw the early childhood and elementary teacher certification program for Teach For America, Greater Tulsa, and had the privilege of developing and certifying hundreds of new teachers.

Jenny holds a M.Ed. from the University of Oklahoma, and a B.A. from Oberlin College.
