Jay Hartman is the Executive Director of the Community Partnership Network with St. Louis Public Schools.
Jay Hartman is the Executive Director of the Community Partnership Network with St. Louis Public Schools. In this role he supervises elementary schools and develops partnerships to support each school. The CPN schools have seen the highest average growth on the state test performance index of neighborhood schools in SLPS. Prior to this role, Jay served as the principal of KIPP Inspire, a charter middle school in St. Louis. While there Jay completed the National Principals’ Academy Fellowship with RELAY GSE and was awarded a Fisher and Miles Fellowship through the KIPP Foundation. As a founding 7th grade reading teacher at KIPP in St. Louis, Jay’s students achieved cohort growth of over 20% improvement in proficiency levels on the state test.
Jay holds an M.A. in Education Leadership from Saint Louis University and a B.A. in History and Secondary Education from Wheaton (IL) College.
