Fumie Ichikawa is the Director of Research and Assessment for Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS). In her current role, she leads the district’s student assessment and research administration efforts. Fumie has served in several committees and working groups related to the district’s DEI efforts including District Equity Team, IPS community accountability fellowship, and language justice taskforce. Prior to joining IPS, she served as the Associate Director for the Study Abroad Foundation, where she supported finance, program coordination, operation, and student support functions to increase student mobility among college students from East Asia to US, Canada, UK, Oceania, and other European countries.
