Erselle Young is the Assistant Superintendent of Operations and Logistics for Rockingham County Schools in Eden, North Carolina. In this role she oversees the district's technology, transportation, school safety, maintenance and school nutrition departments. Prior to the fellowship, Erselle served as a director of several areas including Human Resources/Classified Staff, Career and Technical Education and School Nutrition. She increased the student credentials by 50% while serving as the CTE Director. She also successfully rectified a failing nutrition program with a $1,750,000 deficit. The nutrition program remains healthy and financially independent. Erselle also served as a principal in several of the district's middle and elementary schools. She was a turnaround principal who leading low performing Reidsville Middle school to expected and low performing Williamsburg Elementary School to a status of exceeding expected growth. Erselle received an MSA degree from Appalachian State University and MBA from Averett University. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration received from Saint Paul's College.
