Dominic Pickard is the Director of Arts for the Rochester City School District

In this role, Dominic oversees curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional learning, partnerships, and staffing for the Rochester City School District’s Department of Arts. Prior to this role, Dominic served as the Extended Learning Resource Coordinator at Roberto Clemente School No. 8 where collaborative work with his school leadership team, teachers and the school community guided the school out of receivership through increased arts opportunities and implementation of EL Education practices. Dominic served the Rochester City School District as a Central Registrar and K-8 vocal/ general and instrumental music teacher.

Dominic holds a Master of Science in Education for Educational Leadership: School District Leader and School Building Leader from Niagara University, a Master of Science in Education for Music Education from Nazareth College and a Bachelor of Music for Music Education K-12 from Nazareth College.
