Brandy Reeves is the Chief of Staff and School Leadership for Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools
In this role, Brandy serves the students and district of Chapel Hill Carrboro City. Prior to joining the Fellowship, Brandy served as the Senior Director of Alumni Programming for New Leaders, where she coached principals and developed programming for principals across the country. Before that, she led schools in both Atlanta (9-12) and Chicago (K-8) where she increased graduation rates and academic achievement, moving her elementary school to a 1+ school. During her time as a school leader, Brandy served as a principal, assistant principal, Dean of Students, and English lead teacher. Brandy has two beautiful kiddos- Kai 6, and Kathryn 4, and she and her husband of 12 years reside in NC.
Brandy holds an Ed.D in Education from George Mason University, and while in the New Leaders program she received her second master's from National Louis University. Brandy has also participated in the Georgia Education Policy Fellowship program. She did her undergraduate studies at UNC Charlotte, in her home state of North Carolina.
