Fellowship Role: Managing Director of High Schools for KIPP Texas Public Schools

Jill Quinn-Pineda is the Managing Director of High Schools for KIPP Texas Public Schools.

In this role, she oversees strategy, advanced academics, and leadership support for high schools across Texas. Prior to this role, Jill served as the Deputy Head of Schools for KIPP Texas Houston, where she was responsible for supporting, coaching and developing high school principals across Houston. Jill also served as the Founding School Leader of KIPP Northeast College Preparatory, a high school in northeast Houston. Prior to becoming a School Leader, Jill was a teacher, grade level and department chair, and Miles and Fisher Fellow. Before joining KIPP, Jill was a Teach for America corps member in Houston.

Mikelle holds an M.B.A. with a focus on Educational Entrepreneurship from Rice University, an M.A. and a B.A. from Gonzaga University.
