Claire Crapo is the Director of Special Projects to the Chief Academic Officer for the St. Louis Public Schools.
In this role, she oversees and manages state and federal programs, academic intervention programs, the district’s data management dashboard, and other projects integral to the district’s Academic Office. Prior this role, Claire managed reading intervention and summer programming for the district’s 20,000 students. While in this role, she initiated a district wide reading interventions consisting of 30 staff members. Students participating in these interventions grew 2x as much as their peers in one school year.
Claire holds an Ed.D. in Innovation and Creativity in Education and a Master’s Degree in Teaching from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She attended Sewanee: University of the South and received a B.A. in History.
