Isaac Pollack is currently the Associate Superintendent of School Innovation, Turnaround, and Charter Partnerships at St. Louis Public Schools.

During the Fellowship, Isaac was the Director of Performance and Practice for the Achievement School District in Tennessee. Prior to the Fellowship, Isaac served as the principal of G.W. Carver Senior School in New Orleans. In his first year as a principal, G.W. Carver’s School Performance Score jumped from an F (34.8) to a D (63.2), the first passing designation the school had ever earned. In 2012, Isaac received the Teach For America Alumni: Excellence in Teaching Award for his exemplary work as a founding 9th Grade Biology teacher at Sci Academy in New Orleans.

Isaac holds a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Secondary Education from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an M.S.Ed. in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.
