Danielle Dickinson is the Senior Lead Educator of Curriculum for Middle and High School Literacy and Humanities for the Camden City School District. In this role, she has ensured the district’s ELA and Social Studies curricula met state mandates and implemented systems to assist her colleagues in doing the same. This effort helped to raise the district’s state compliance score for curriculum and instruction by 50 points for the 2022-2023 school year. Danielle also partnered with local colleges and universities to expand dual credit programming leading to 90% of the district’s Advanced Placement students earning college credits prior to graduating. Prior to her current position at CCSD, Danielle served in building based roles within the district. As a Teacher Leader, her department saw 10% growth on their state ELA assessment. Since 2019, Danielle has been selected to work on special projects for the New Jersey Department of Education. This most recently entailed being one of eleven educators chosen from over 250 to write the upcoming ELA New Jersey State Learning Standards.

Danielle holds an M.S. in Educational Administration from Drexel University, a B.A. in Secondary Education, and a B.A. in Literature both from Stockton University. She also completed TNTP’s Pathway to Leadership in Urban Schools through the Camden Plus program.
