Danielle Sobel is the Interim Chief Talent Officer for Breakthrough Public Schools in Cleveland, Ohio.

In this role, Danielle oversees human capital operations, talent acquisition and development for ten schools and the home office. She is currently leading a multi-year design project to create a new approach to compensation and evaluation for all employees which she began in her role as Managing Director of Talent Management. Prior to coming to Breakthrough, Danielle coached and supported teachers across Cleveland while creating new structures for corps members to collaborate with peers and alumni through her role with Teach For America. She has also served as the President of Junior League of Cleveland, taught fifth grade as a Teach For America corps member, a Children's Defense Fund Servant Leader Intern, City Year corps member, and oversaw community health programming and outreach for five counties in Northeast Ohio.

Danielle holds an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Ashland University, an MPH in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from Case Western University's School of Medicine, and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
