Vicki currently serves as Chief People Officer with Achievement Prep.
During the Fellowship, she served as Chief of Staff at UP Education Network, managing the network’s communication strategy, family and community engagement, and cross-functional projects for the network team. She began the Fellowship as the Director of Talent and Communications for UP, working on strategic talent projects and leading the network's internal and external communication strategy, working directly with UP's new CEO, Veronica Conforme. Prior to joining the Fellowship, Vicki served as the Director of Selection and Staffing for UP, where she was responsible for planning and executing UP’s selection model for all schools and the network office and ensuring strong collaboration between UP and their partner districts. Vicki also served as the Director of Recruitment, successfully recruiting and hiring teachers, leaders, and staff members for UP’s six turnaround schools across three cities. Before joining UP Education Network, Vicki taught middle school math in Phoenix, Arizona.
Vicki holds an M.S.Ed. from Arizona State University and a B.S.Ed in Human Development from Northwestern University.
