Katie currently serves as Director of Growth and Performance Management with Denver Public Schools.
During the Fellowship, she served as Chief of Staff for the Division of Secondary Education at Denver Public Schools. She began the Fellowship as Deputy of Leadership Development & Evaluation for the School District of Philadelphia, where she was responsible for ensuring the district has an effective leader in every school, an effective teacher in every classroom, and an effective workforce supporting improved outcomes for students. Katie led school leader and teacher evaluation, school leader professional development, new principal leadership development, and leadership pathways. Before joining the School District of Philadelphia, Katie served as the Project Manager at Operation Public Education, a school reform effort based at the University of Pennsylvania focused on helping school districts, charter networks, and states develop new teacher evaluation, compensation, and professional development systems.
Katie holds an M.S.Ed. in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Psychology from Brown University.
